Leah's blasting off with BBC Stargazing

Leah Boleto joins hosts Brian Cox and Dara O Briain as British astronaut Tim Peake prepares for take off

'Blast Off Live', on BBC One will celebrate British astronaut Tim Peake’s space mission as he becomes the first Brit to serve on the International Space Station.

Thousands of school children will join the team as they take us through this truly historic occasion. The programme will be presented from the Science Museum in London.

Leah Boleto will discover just what Tim’s body will go through on his trip to the ISS. She will show how those of us who aren’t lucky enough to go into space can experience exhilarating g-forces and weightlessness, just like Tim.

Leah said: “I feel honoured to be part of something that will go down in history. It’s going to be the most exciting TV moment of year – and of course – it’s all live.”
